New Tracks and Fences

In late 2022, we completed a much needed upgrade – new tracks and fences!

Thank you Simon, Chloe and Zac for all your hard work in organising and helping with the grading of new tracks, and the installation of new fences. These upgrades ensure a safe farm environment for both herd and humans!

Revitalising the Bunyip River

We have recently had Melbourne Water attend the property to clean up the river.

Blackberries have always been an issue along the river, and Melbourne water have been working hard to clear the majority of blackberry bushes, as well as clearing general debris from the river banks.

Melbourne Water will be back later in the year during Spring, to plant more native trees, and ensure this beautiful river remains safe for both humans and animals.

The New Dairy

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, the team at Farnborough Jersey Stud decided that during lockdown would be the perfect time to rebuild our old dairy.

The original was constructed during DATE, and the farm operations and herd had begun to outgrow the small dairy.

A new dairy was sourced from LOCATION, and transported in pieces to Farnborough.  Simon, along with assistance from many trades and contractors, rebuilt the new dairy during the many lockdowns in Victoria – the construction being considered an essential service.
